Our school community recently gathered in the afternoon to celebrate the achievements of our Transition Year students at their Graduation Ceremony. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise a year filled with growth, exploration, and memorable experiences. Bhí atmaisféar bródúil agus dearfach le brath i rith an lae.
Throughout the year, our TY students embraced a wide range of opportunities, from work experience placements and community initiatives to creative projects and extracurricular activities. Their willingness to step outside their comfort zones and try new things has been truly commendable.
The ceremony included reflections from students and teachers, highlighting the many successes and personal milestones reached over the past year. Áine Ní Chonchúir was presented with the Spirit of TY Award in recognition of their enthusiasm and positive contribution to the programme. Cara Crowley and Saoirse Fitzgerald were also honoured with the Credit Union Community Involvement Award, acknowledging their commitment to making a difference in the community.
The TY Yearbook beautifully summed up what an amazing year it has been, capturing the memories, achievements, and experiences shared by the group. Is cinnte gur bliain den scoth a bhí ann. TY Graduation Year Book 2026 Online Copy.pdf
