Youghal Family Resource Initiative would like to invite you along to a free talk by Guest Speaker Lauraine Giacovazzi from Asiam.

Lauraine talk is relevant to parents of children/adolescents with additional needs who are at different stages of the process, from initial point where you are information gathering, linking in with health professionals, or in the process of early assessment/intervention primary and post primary.
Lauraine will
- Give an overview of the work they do in their free six week programme Empower and Educate and how parents can sign up to it if they wish.
- Give an overview of their education series that aims to inform parents about the autistic identity and experience. This will include a brief overview of sensory processing and communication. Lauraine will also sign post parents to resources that will support educational needs.
- Answer any questions parents may have on the day.
