Dr. Griffin is one of Ireland’s most experienced forensic psychologists, who has worked with the Gardai, HSE and other National Agencies. Throughout the past nine years she has delivered presentations on how to protect children when online, in over 700 primary and secondary schools around Ireland. Her delivery is engaging, deeply insightful and above all, extremely pragmatic. Hers is a “hands-on” approach.
We live in an exciting, yet challenging age. It is the digital age, whereby technology is available to an increasingly younger age cohort. While the availability of such a multiplicity of information is empowering, it also brings its challenges as to the impact it has on our children. As we navigate this age, we must teach our children the skills they need, thus enabling them reap the benefits of modern technology, while also enabling them deal with the risks and dangers they may confront.
Dr Griffin will present the resources necessary to help navigate the ever-changing domain of social media, together with practical advice and tips.
