Cheque presentation & Testicular Cancer Awareness Talk
Four of our Fifth Year students presenting a cheque to Micheal Sheridan, CEO, Mercy University Hospital Foundation. It is the proceeds from a one- hour street collection recently in Youghal town, in aid of the "Mercy Heroes Campaign", which funds a Paediatric Oncology Outreach Nursing Service.
Micheal also delivered an Educational presentation to 90 Senior boys on "Testicular Cancer Awareness", as this is is the most common cancer among males aged 15 - 35yrs. It is also one of the most treatable types if diagnosed at an early stage.
